Try: “I’ll do my best to get your meds to you a bit early, after I finish rounds”

2. “What’s the problem?”
Try: “Can we talk about how you are feeling and work on a solution?”

3. “Come here”
Try: “Do you mind coming over here so I can check your blood pressure?”

4. “You need to…”
Try: “Could you please wait for me in your room and I will be there in a few minutes?”

5. “Calm down…”
Try: “I understand your frustration and I am here for you. Please let me know how I can help”
