FAQ

Will I learn how to do an EKG?

The 12 Lead ECG Interpretation covers interpretation in detail. However, we will also go over EKG placement techniques.

What is the difference between the ECG Dysrhythmia class and the 12 Lead class?
The ECG Interpretation class covers basic heart anatomy, circulation, electrophysiology, recognition of over 20 arrhythmias, along with related meds and ACLS algorithms. ECG Dysrhythmia Interpretation course details, FAQ, schedules (virtual and classroom)

The focus in the 12 Lead class is ST segment deviation, and other indications of ischemia and infarction (MI, AKA: heart attack), along with correlating the lead views with coronary arteries and the surfaces of the heart.
For example: Lead II – right coronary artery (RCA), which is an inferior view of the heart surface, so when Lead II shows ST elevation, this could indicate an occlusion in the RCA, affecting the inferior surface of the heart tissue.
