ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Online & Skills Session is a blended learning course which includes a combination of eLearning, in which the student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner on the computer, followed by a hands-on session at our AHA authorized training facility. With this hybrid course, the student receives the same certification card as with the traditional classroom course.

Part 2: Skills Session at our facility on the scheduled date/time, for review, hands-on skills, and testing (3-4 hours)
Course Description
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Online & Skills Session involves the student reviewing course content through online videos before entering the classroom. The video lessons cover multiple medical subjects and each lesson includes questions to engage the student.

- Latest American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
- Important changes in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS)
- Foundation CPR/BLS lifesaving skills, with an emphasis on high-quality, continuous compressions and proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Basic and advanced airway management procedures
- Team dynamics
- Systems of care
- Emergency interventions and algorithms
- ACLS related pharmacology
- Recognition and management of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and stroke (CVA)
- Post-cardiac-arrest care
- ACLS Study Guide
Intended Audience
- This AHA approved course is intended primarily for nurses, physicians, paramedics and other providers whose clinical duties include participation in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and caring for patients pre-hospital and acute care settings.
- This course satisfies the requirement for providers in need of completing the ACLS Initial Provider Certification or ACLS Recertification/Renewal/Update course.

Yes. When enrolling for ACLS, you may choose to add BLS.
My ACLS card expired. Can I still take this class?
Yes. This course is designed for both Initial Provider and Recertification.
